Although one might expect otherwise given the unconventional nature of these topics, I come from a very traditional background:
I am a 35-year-old woman;
I come from a middle-class family that gave me a traditional upbringing;
I hold a Master’s degree in Law and have worked in Finance;
I am married to my partner, with whom I have shared my life for 15 years and who works in the corporate world;
Thanks to various professional opportunities, we have lived together in France and abroad.
This type of atypical relationship is therefore not reserved for those often — rightly or wrongly — perceived as “alternative” or “eccentric” but can very well be compatible with what many would consider a "traditional" lifestyle.
